Attorney Kathleen Stamm

Kathleen A. Stamm is a highly skilled attorney at Slater & Zurz, bringing a wealth of medical malpractice defense experience and a robust pharmaceutical background. Admitted to the Ohio Bar in May 2016, Kathleen earned her Juris Doctor from The University of Toledo College of Law in December 2014, with a Health Law Certificate of Concentration. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from Bowling Green State University.

Kathleen honed her legal expertise at a large downtown Cleveland medical malpractice defense firm, where she served as an Associate from January 2018 to June 2023. In this role, she was integral in managing litigation for large healthcare corporations, participating in all aspects of case development. Most notably, she gained valuable trial experience. Although her primary focus is Medical Malpractice and Nursing Homes, her legal experience also includes brief stints in contracts, employment law, construction law, defamation, and collections.

Kathleen is an active member of the American Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, Toledo Bar Association, Akron Bar Association, Ohio Association for Justice, and previously the American Health Lawyers Association. She was recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2023. She also holds a certification as a Long Term Care Power Lawyer.
