Brandon Dean

Partner

For over a decade, Brandon Dean has fought for individuals and their families in nursing home neglect, assisted living abuse, and medical malpractice cases.

Brandon knows the legal process can feel daunting and deeply personal for families who entrust the well-being of their loved ones to caregivers and medical professionals. His approach? Challenge powerful institutions and push for real accountability — because families deserve answers, not excuses.

While clients appreciate Brandon’s direct, no-nonsense approach, what truly sets him apart is his commitment to building these relationships. To him, being a good lawyer means being accessible, honest, and fiercely dedicated to the people who trust him with their most difficult moments.

Experience

Brandon has worked at the Summit County Prosecutor’s Office, the City of Cleveland’s Law Department, and the United States Attorney’s Office in Akron while in law school.

As a partner at Slater & Zurz, he leads the firm’s Medical Malpractice and Nursing Home/Geriatric Abuse Division, taking on some of the nation’s largest hospital systems and long-term care corporations.

Outside the Office

A lifelong Ohioan, Brandon lives in downtown Cleveland and is a die-hard Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Guardians fan. When he’s not in the office, you’ll likely find him running along the city streets, spending time with his Rottweiler, or catching a game.
